JOB PURPOSE / PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Project Manager to assist the Project Coordinator in running a four year EU research project, NOWELTIES.

The project, an EU-funded four year Marie Curie European Joint Doctorate  Project, includes 9 project partners from Spain, Germany, Italy, Croatia and Serbia and 7 partner organizations, and will train 14 Early Stage Researchers in state-of-the-art technologies for wastewater treatment.

The Project Manager provide full support to the Project Co-ordinator in the management, administration and day to day running of the NOWELTIES project, and all aspects of the programme.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager will be expected to oversee the research programme and associated researcher training programme; to provide administrative support to the Project Co-ordinator and project partners in the organisation, undertaking and follow-up of the advanced training course, project meetings,  and workshops; to prepare and distribute the requests for relevant information and documentation to the EU, project beneficiaries and partner organizations , including complex technical and administrative information and drafting/preparing of documents; to maintain project electronic resources, including web site and other e-resources, document archives; to oversee dissemination activities.

 

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential:

Experience in managing EU projects

Oral and written communication skills

Good organisational skills

High level of proficiency in English and good level in Spanish

Ability to work flexibly in a team

Flexibility in terms of time-schedule

Availability to travel to project meetings (max 2-3 times per year)

Desirable:

Knowledge and experience with MSCA programme and specifically ITN projects
