The Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI) has awarded ICRA a €15,000 grant of the 2026 FCRI Call for Proposals for the science outreach project “GLH₂OPS – Discover the water you drink”, selected in the Established Talent category.

The initiative aims to bring scientific knowledge about drinking water closer to citizens and promote more sustainable consumption habits. The main activity will be a blind water tasting, allowing participants to compare different types of water —tap, filtered, well, and bottled— and reflect on their taste, quality, cost, and environmental footprint. The project also includes the development of a prototype autonomous water dispenser, an interactive digital platform, and various outreach materials.
