She graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Spain. In addition to having a Master's in Renewable Energy Sources, at the San Pablo CEU University in Madrid, she obtained a scholarship to do a research master's in Materials Science and Engineering. Since then, she has participated as a junior researcher in different projects to acquire experience in material synthesis and processing, as well as in different material characterization techniques.
