Doctor in Industrial and Environmental Engineering from the University of Girona (2003) and Associate Researcher at the Advanced Water Management Center of the University of Queensland (Australia, 2005-2010). Expert in urban sanitation systems, including sewerage and urban drainage, development of innovative solutions and digitization of urban water systems. Promoter of the line of research in sewerage systems at ICRA, which has included 12 competitive research projects from national and international calls. On 4 occasions he has been the principal researcher-coordinator and in 8 projects and have been a member of the research team. He has also obtained and directed 14 R&amp;D projects in collaboration with industry. Is the inventor of 2 patents related to solutions to sanitation problems. He has a total of 32 publications with 1800 citations, which corresponds to an H index factor of 20. He has presented more than 50 papers at international conferences, several of them as an invited speaker.
