His current research in the ReUseMP3 project (www.reusemp3.icra.cat), as well as in collaboration with HYDROUSA (www.hydrousa.org) and the PRIMA-SAFE (www.icra.cat\/projecte_detall.php?&amp;id=215&amp;lang=3) projects, concerns on the growth of crops for human consumption in nature-based water treatment and reuse applications for various greywater resources. She hereby focusses on the accumulation of pharmaceutical products and endocrine-disrupting compounds in the edible part of crops irrigated with greywater, with the intention to help bridge the knowledge gap identified in the European regulation on watereuse (2020\/741), about the potential risk to human health related to agricultural irrigation in water reuse applications.
