He received his doctorate in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability from the University of Girona (2012). He is also currently an associate professor at the University of Girona.\r\n\r\nHis research has focused on the sustainable management of water resources and ecosystems associated with fresh water. His main field of research is the modeling, assessment and mapping of water-related ecosystem services to support river conservation and restoration.
