Journalism for Scientific Integrity\u201d<\/strong>. The event, to be held next Thursday, June 11th, at CosmoCaixa Barcelona, will focus on debating and reclaiming the role of \"watchdog\" (or investigative) science journalism as an essential tool for detecting misconduct, fraud, and malpractice within the research field.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nThe gathering will feature a panel of top-tier speakers who will address the issue from various sector perspectives. Notable participants include <strong>Pilar Paneque<\/strong>, Director of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA); <strong>Rodrigo P\u00e9rez Ortega<\/strong>, a renowned journalist for <em>Science<\/em> magazine; and <strong>Mira Petrovic<\/strong>, Research Professor at the Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA) based at the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA) and a well-known whistleblower in the scientific community.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nThe conference is free of charge upon registration and will take place from <strong>6:00 PM to 8:00 PM<\/strong>.
