How can we move towards a sustainable circular future?\n\nAs we kicked off the New Year, it's time to have a deep dive into the HYDROUSA progress.\n\nA series of webinars focusing on applications to each Mediterranean region will start in the beginning of March and continue through May.\n\nHYDROUSA 2021 webinar series are designed by a community of water allies to introduce the mission towards a viable scenario of a circular economy. We address the challenges of water supply, wastewater and biodiversity loss \u2013 by extracting water from unconventional sources using state-of-the-art and nature-based technological innovations.\n\nThe online sessions include an introduction to the project of HYDROUSA, its theoretical approach, methodologies & actions, backed up by interactive slots with questions on the distinct on-site applications, & collective mapping of the webinar's outcomes & future steps.\n\nWEBINAR A: revolves around HYDROUSA applications of the island of Mykonos\n\nTopics: #Residential Rainwater harvesting #Subsurface Rainwater harvesting\n\nDate & Time: 4\/3\/2021, 17:00 - 18:30\n\nWEBINAR B: revolves around HYDROUSA applications of the island of Tinos\n\nTopic: #Desalination system #Greenhouse #Ecotourist water-loops\n\nDate & Time: 1\/4\/2021, 17:00 - 18:30\n\nWEBINAR C: revolves around the applications of the island of Lesvos\n\nTopic: #Wastewater \u03a4reatment system #Agroforestry system\n\nDate & Time: 5\/5\/2021, 17:00 - 18:30\n\nExperts & key stakeholders will gather up virtually to explore further our project's applications, the distinct characteristics of the selected areas, innovations & circular economy practices, covering the applications from their concept to their completion.\n\nRepresentatives from the National Technical University, Alchemia Nova, Water Utility of Lesvos Municipalities of Tinos, Mykonos and Western Lesvos, PLANET, Delaros, Tinos Ecolodge will guide us through the project's vision, actions and the technology innovations at each destination.
