Gross Annual Salary package: from 24.000 € to 30.999 € based on the merits.



We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Project Manager to assist the Project Coordinator in running a four year EU research project, intoDBP. The project, a HORIZON-RIA, includes 16 project partners from Spain, Ireland, Cyprus, Italy, Belgium, Israel, Austria, US and Australia. The project consortium includes research organizations, large enterprise, medium and small enterprises, public bodies and non-profit organizations. The aim of the project is to develop, test, scale-up, validate, and benchmark innovative tools and strategies to protect catchments and minimize human exposure to disinfection byproducts (DBP) under current and future climates, without compromising disinfection efficacy, and which could be applied at the global scale.



The Project Manager will be expected to oversee the research programme; to provide administrative support to the Project Co-ordinator and project partners in the organisation, project meetings, and workshops; to prepare and distribute the requests for relevant information and documentation to the EU, project beneficiaries and partner organizations, including complex technical and administrative information and drafting/preparing of documents; to contribute to project electronic resources, including web site and other e-resources, document archives; to oversee dissemination activities.



Must have – Required


Research Field or Field of knowledge:

Experience in participation in EU projects.

Technical Expertise on water treatment (ideally drinking water treatment).


Qualifications and Education Level:

Training Required: Master.

Specialty: Communication, Public Relations, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science.

Critical thinking and problem solving

Flexibility in terms of time-schedule

Availability to travel to project meetings (max 2 times per year)


Required Languages:

English and Spanish. Catalan language is valued.


Required Experience:

Experience in participation of H2020 or Horizon Europe projects.

Experience in organization of scientific events and activities.



Knowledge and experience managing projects H2020, Horizon Europe or alike.

Experience in the organization of research activities.

Selection process:
