A delegation of academics from Palestinian Technical University Kadoorie (PTUK) recently visited Catalonia, hosted by the Solidarity UB Foundation. The visit aimed to foster new opportunities for university cooperation and collaboration.

During their stay, the delegation shared experiences and explored potential partnerships with the University of Barcelona, University of Girona, the LEQUIA research group, the School of Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and ICRA. The delegation visited some of the research facilities at ICRA and met with various researchers.

This visit is part of the project “Agricultural Innovation, Climate Change, and Farmers’ Rights in Palestine through Women’s Cooperatives and International University Alliances,” led by Solidarity UB and the Catalan Peace Association, in collaboration with the Palestinian Farmers Union (PFU), PTUK, and supported by AECID under its innovation program.
