For individuals, the tax deduction for donations varies depending on the amount donated. Donations up to €250 are 80% deductible. For amounts above this threshold, the deduction rate is 35%, increasing to 40% if you have donated consecutively for more than two years.
For example, if you donate XXX€, you can deduct XXX€ for the first €250 and XX€ for the remaining amount of your contribution:

Autonomous deduction
The limit for the deduction base is 15% of the taxable base of the Corporate Tax for the financial year. Amounts exceeding this limit can be applied in the next 10 fiscal years.
Deductions that could not be applied due to insufficient taxable quota can be carried forward to the tax periods ending in the following 10 years.
(*) There is the possibility to increase the deduction percentage, as long as donations have been made to the same entity for an amount equal to or greater than the previous year’s donation during the last 3 preceding financial years.
