Mira Čelić is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Catalan Institute of Water Research (ICRA) in Girona, Spain. Her research expertise lies in the development and application of advanced analytical techniques for targeted and suspect screening analyses in the field of chemical contaminants, as well as the prioritization of chemical markers and risk assessment.
Dr. Čelić possesses a high level of proficiency in the development of analytical methods utilizing liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole (UHPLC-MS/MS) and quadrupole linear ion trap (QqLIT−) tandem mass spectrometry, as well as high-resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS). Her research has been primarily focused on analyzing a wide range of micro-pollutants, including pharmaceuticals, antibiotics, endocrine disrupting compounds, pesticides, and more.
Throughout her career, Dr. Čelić has actively participated in various projects dedicated to water quality, environmental pollution, and chemical contaminant analysis. Her contributions have resulted in the publication of three book chapters and nine articles in international journals with significant impact factors. As of June 1st, 2023, according to SCOPUS, her research work has earned her an h-index of 7, with a total of 265 citations.
