Estrada Verdura, Laia

Laia Estrada Verdura is a pre-doctoral researcher at ICRA in the line of research “Ecosystem services related to fresh water and nature-based solutions”. She has a degree in Geology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2019) and a master’s degree in Environmental Geology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2020).

His research focuses on modeling surface and groundwater processes and their interactions to assess water quantity and quality at the basin scale, specifically in areas experiencing water scarcity. Using decadal forecasts (1 to 10 years), these models provide support for policy decision-making in appropriate timeframes.
