Tomàs Lock graduated in chemistry from the University of York (United Kingdom) where he specialized in the technique of electron diffraction for the study of molecular structure. He later completed a master’s degree in environmental engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and did the final work on the regeneration of waste water through treatment with aquifer soil. Currently, he collaborates in the reclaimONEwater project, in which he is responsible for verifying the effectiveness of VUV (vacuum UV) treatment in the degradation of persistent pollutants present in waste water.
