The publications on “Contaminants of emerging concern – how can we control them with algae” were selected as excellent achievement in science 2022 for the Slovenian Research Agency.
The achievement contributes to the understanding of the mechanisms of biological systems and the management of health and environmental risk when recovering resources for agriculture. This achievement follows another from the year 2022 (University of Ljubljana Research and Development Commission).
This work was in collaboration with Gianluigi Buttiglieri of ICRA-TiA and in the framework of his Castillejo grant at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia).
