On February 11th, four ICRA researchers participated in the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, offering talks to students in 6th grade of primary school and 1st year of secondary school as part of the #científiques program of the FCRI (Fundació Catalana Recerca i Innovació). An initiative that aims to promote the role of women in the scientific field and encourage scientific vocations among the youngest.

During the talks, the scientists shared their experiences in research, highlighting the challenges that women still face in the scientific field. The activity generated great interest and participation among the students. At ICRA, we continue to work to promote gender equality in research and inspire new scientific vocations.
