ICRA-CERCA researcher Lúcia Helena Santos participated in the 18 ^th International Conference on Chemistry and the Environment (ICCE 2023) in Venice (Italy), from June 11 to 15, 2023, with the oral presentation ” Wastewater-derived organic pollutants driven by reclaimed wastewater reuse in agricultural irrigation: dietary exposure and potential risks to the environment and human health”.

This presentation summarizes the main results of the European HYDROUSA project on the assessment of the potential risks to the environment and human health of emerging contaminants, such as pharmaceuticals and personal care products, detected in wastewater used for crop irrigation.
