On Thursday, April 16th, 2026, the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA) took part in the Job Speed Meetings, held as part of the Professional Guidance Conference for students of the Faculty of Sciences at the Universitat de Girona. This event has established itself as a key space for connecting students with the labor market, providing guidance and a direct insight into their professional future.
In this edition, Massimiliano Riva and Maite Pijuan represented the institute in the speed interview sessions. During the meetings, they shared their experience, resolved doubts regarding different career paths within the scientific and technological sectors, and answered questions from students and recent graduates interested in water research.
Participation in this initiative allows ICRA to actively contribute to the guidance and recruitment of young talent, bringing new generations of graduates closer to the professional opportunities offered by scientific research. Actions like this reaffirm the institute’s commitment to promoting its activity and supporting future professionals in the sector.
