It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Prof. Emilio Custodio, at the age of 83. Prof. Custodio was a member of the ICRA Scientific Advisory Board during the period 2013-2018. Some of you will remember Emilio, great hydrogeologist and leader of several generations of Spanish hydrogeologists. He remained active in this field until the last moments of his life.
ICRA greatly appreciates Emilio’s role in the Scientific Advisory Board. He was a great support from ICRA’s first steps as a water institute, contributing not only with his wisdom but also with his good humor and friendliness.
