Published the book Removal and Degradation of¬ Pharmaceutically Active Compounds in Wastewater Treatment by the publisher Springer

The ICRA researcher, Sara Rodríguez-Mozaz, together with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) researchers Paqui Blánquez Cano and Montserrat Sarrà Adroguer have published the book Removal and Degradation of Pharmaceutically Active Compounds in Wastewater Treatment of active pharmaceutical compounds in the treatment of waste water) in the Springer publishing series “The Handbook of Environmental Chemistry”. The volume aims to give an overview of various strategies in the treatment of wastewater and their evaluation with respect to the removal of drugs, which have been extensively investigated in recent years due to their possible adverse effects for the environment and human health. In addition to Sara Rodríguez-Mozaz, other ICRA researchers who have participated in the corresponding chapters are Damià Barceló, Pablo Gago-Ferrero, Marc Castaño, Luis Baptista-Pires, Jelena Radjenovic and Gianluigi Buttiglieri.
