11th European Conference on Pesticides and Related Organic Micropollutants in the Environment & 17th Symposium on Chemistry and Fate of Modern Pesticides

June 23 – 26, 2022 at the Conference Center University of Ioannina

The director of ICRA, Damià Barceló, is part of the Scientific Committee of the 11th European Conference on Pesticides and Organic Micropollutants Related to the Environment and the 17th Symposium on the Chemistry and Fate of Modern Pesticides, which were originally scheduled for September 20-23, 2020 and after for June 13-16, 2021. Finally, it has been rescheduled as PESTICIDES2022 for June 23-26, 2022 at the Conference Center of the University of Ioannina “Karolos Papoulias”, Ioannina, Greece.

The Conference is organized by the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Ioannina in cooperation with the Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development (IESD), the University Research Center of Ioannina, the International Association of Environmental Analytical Chemistry (IAEAC), the European-Mediterranean Association for the Evaluation and Protection of Environmental Education (ENEAP), the Gruppo di Ricerca Italiana Fitofarmaci i Ambiente (GRIFA) and the National Research Infrastructure for the Integral Characterization of Food (FoodOmics).

The program will seek to bring together scientists interested in pesticides and the environment, as well as highlight all the latest methodologies, modeling tools and theoretical approaches, attracting researchers from the international scientific community to exchange ideas and inform -se about a particularly serious problem that affects the quality of the natural environment.

At this point we would like to invite all our colleagues to present their abstracts and we look forward to welcoming you all to the 11th European Conference on Pesticides and Organic Micropollutants Related to the Environment and the 17th Symposium on Chemistry and Destination Modern Pesticides to share experiences with other high-level professors, colleagues and friends, representing many renowned universities and institutes together with members of relevant international organizations.
