Bosch Lladó, Lluís Maria

Lluís Bosch is a research support computer programmer. He holds a degree in Biotechnology (UAB 2012) and an MSc in Information Technology (UdG 2013). His tasks are: help with automation and data analysis for researchers who need it, mathematical/statistical advice, software development tailored to research needs, development of algorithms and web interfaces to facilitate access to information for any research project. He is also the administrator of ICRA’s ‘Undarius’ HPC cluster, where he helps researchers build, maintain and optimize their simulation environments. He also co-administers the “icradev.cat” web server, where several research projects are developed in the form of web platforms, such as ECAM, an open source tool that allows the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions in companies related to the water cycle. In 2020, he built the SARSAIGUA web platform, the backend of the SARS-CoV-2 Surveillance Network at the Catalan Treatment Plants, which was coordinated from ICRA. It also administers and maintains the official ICRA GitHub account to orchestrate open source projects produced by ICRA in collaboration with other research centers and/or the scientific community. He masters several programming languages: Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, Unix Shell, SQL, C, Matlab, Erlang, among others.
