Sílvia Busquets Font has a Master’s Degree in Water Science and Technology from the University of Girona and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Barcelona. She is an advanced research technique in the area of ​​Technologies and Evaluation and its area of ​​specialization is the sanitation and urban drainage system. In addition to developing tasks as an advanced research technique, she carries out the coordination and management of national and international projects related to the improvement of the management of sanitation systems and the development of innovative digital solutions. In addition, also carry out technology transfer and consulting projects for companies. She is an expert in the development and deployment of sensors and equipment for the monitoring and digitization of the sanitation system and in the analysis and treatment of the data collected by them. She also participates in the development of web platforms collaborating with other researchers from very diverse fields. Due to her great interest in scientific dissemination and the transfer of knowledge to society, she also teaches as an associate professor at the University of Girona.
