Núria Cáceres is a senior technician in Chemical Analysis and Processes, specialized in the analysis, treatment, and collection of samples from natural, reused, wastewater, and drinking water, as well as various environmental matrices (biota, biofilm, sediments, and sludge). She is a member of the working team for national and international projects focused on the study of the origin, treatment, removal, and assessment of the fate and impact of emerging contaminants in the environment. Among her professional skills, she has extensive experience in analytical techniques such as LC/MS, GC, SPR, AOX, and particle analysis.

Núria is also responsible for the management and maintenance of the laboratories in the Water Quality and Safety area. This involves supervising the laboratories, managing inventory, calibrating various equipment, and welcoming and training new staff.

Finally, it is worth to highlight her involvement in the implementation of risk assessment procedures carried out within the different ICRA projects.
