Predoctoral Researcher
Anna Segués i Codina is a PhD student at ICRA in the Water Science and Technology program at the University of Girona. She graduated in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and completed the MRes in Green Chemistry: Energy and the Environment at Imperial College London in the United Kingdom. During the master’s degree, she worked on the development of an adsorbent to remove arsenic from drinking water, a project that resulted in a scientific publication. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the optimization of graphene electrodes for the disinfection and removal of persistent organic pollutants from water.
