Àlex Sánchez is graduated in Biology from the University of Girona in 2004. In 2015 he obtained the title of Doctor of Biology with European honors from the University of Girona, in the specialty of Molecular Microbiology and Microbial Ecology and framed within the doctoral program Experimental Sciences and Sustainability. Previously, in 2010, he joined the organization chart of the Scientific and Technical Services (SCT) of ICRA as a specialized technician in the Biological and Molecular Techniques Unit (UTBM) and the Microscopy Unit (UM), participating in the setting up of both laboratories. In 2012 he obtained the title of supervisor for Radioactive Installations (IRA) for non-encapsulated sources by the University of Barcelona. In 2020 he becomes responsible for SCT, being in charge of the UTBM, the UM and the IRA.
