    This research line analyses the impacts of extreme droughts on ecosystems and economic activities, characterised by a duration and intensity greater than that of typical Mediterranean summer droughts. In addition, it focuses on identifying management measures with the best cost-benefit ratio to mitigate the effects of extreme droughts or to adapt to them more effectively.
