Sara Rodríguez-Mozaz participated on 17 June 2026 in the hybrid workshop “Water Resilience in the EU: Research Gaps on Emerging Pollutants, AMR, and One Health”, held at the University of Helsinki.

The event brought together researchers, industry representatives, and other European stakeholders to identify research priorities and collaboration opportunities related to safe water reuse, emerging pollutants, antimicrobial resistance, and climate-resilient water systems in the context of the JAMRAI project (reference code 101127787).

During the workshop, Sara Rodríguez-Mozaz presented ICRA’s expertise in emerging pollutants, antimicrobial resistance, and risk assessment from a One Health perspective. She also highlighted the institute’s work on nature-based solutions (NBS) through projects such as GGsolutions PID2024-161596OB-C21; MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033/FEDER, UE) and NEWater (PCI2024-153445; MICIU /AEI/10.13039/501100011033/ UE) funded by the Spanish State Research Agency (AEI) and the European Union. The workshop will help promote future research initiatives and strengthen European collaboration towards safer and more sustainable water management.
