Lucas L. Alonso, researcher at the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA), participated in the SETAC 9th World Congress / SETAC Africa 12th Biennial Meeting, held from 29 September to 3 October 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The conference is a leading international forum that promotes scientific dialogue and the exchange of knowledge in the fields of environmental chemistry and environmental toxicology.

During the conference, several recent developments related to the NEWater project (PCI2024-153445), in which ICRA is involved, were presented, contributing to the dissemination of scientific results and to the establishment of synergies with other international research groups.
