As part of the city’s renowned floral festival, Temps de Flors, ICRA together with the Joncs Foundation and Basket Girona presented a unique floral installation combining sport and sustainability. The display featured a symbolic basketball hoop alongside a scaled-down green wall designed for wastewater treatment, developed in collaboration with the Austrian company Alchemia Nova. This creative fusion highlighted the intersection of environmental innovation and community engagement.

On May 13th, a new edition of ICRA’s Flash Seminars was held, focusing on the theme “Water and Health,” with presentations by researchers Mira Petrovic, Wolfgang Gernjak, Sofía Semitsoglou, Carles Borrego, Pamela Colman, and Mireia Fillol. The seminar highlighted that water can be both a health risk and a powerful tool to understand public health.
