ICRA-CERCA together with LEQUIA-UdG organized the 6th IWA EcoSTP International Conference , held in Girona. More than 550 people from all over the world attended a day that aimed to discuss the latest cutting-edge eco-technologies for a sustainable transition in the treatment, reuse and recovery of resources, on an urban and industrial scale, paying particular attention to the efficient transfer of knowledge into practice. Dr. Maite Pijuan, ICRA scientific researcher, together with Prof. Ignasi Rodríguez-Roda, from LEQUIA-UdG, were the presidents of the Conference.
More than 30 ICRA researchers attended the day, presenting ICRA’s work to the international community. Among them, the ICRA research group on nature-based solutions and emerging pollutants (Gianluigi Buttiglieri, Lúcia Helena Santos, Marc Castaño, Marta Turull, Lucas Alonso, Sara Rodríguez-Mozaz, Esther Mendoza, Sofia Semitsoglou-Tsiapou, Joaquim Comas, among others).
