CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOB
OFFER DESCRIPTION
Analytical technician to join the Chemical Analysis Unit (UAQ) of the Scientific and Technical Services (SCT) of the ICRA.
KEY DUTIES
The tasks assigned to the offered contract are focused on the physicochemical characterisation of aqueous matrices. In this sense, the person to be hired must have proven knowledge in the determination of parameters such as pH, alkalinity, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Organic Carbon (TOC), analysis by ion chromatography, Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN), etc. Experience in laboratory management, preparation of standards, reagents and samples, sample treatment (digestion, filtration, dilution, etc.), data processing, report writing, equipment maintenance and calibration, stock management of standards, ordering and technical support to users is also required. The job also involves performing tasks related to the implementation and monitoring of a quality management system.

Qualifications and Education Level:
FPII/CFGS, Bachelor/Degree
Skills:
Team player, proactive person, autonomous, methodical, organised with knowledge in sample preparation and analysis under quality system.
Required Languages:
Spanish, Catalan and English
Required Experience:
Minimum 6 months demonstrable
Desirable
Professional experience in physicochemical characterisation of aqueous matrices. Knowledge of related treatment and analysis techniques. Experience in working under a quality system will be an asset.

Selection process:
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process.
