The ICRA-CERCA researcher Sofia Semitsoglou-Tsiapou will participate to the “International workshop on sustainable water reuse in agriculture in the context of the PRIMA-SAFE project” that will be held at Thessaloniki, Greece, from 10th to 14th July 2024.
The PRIMA-SAFE project optimizes innovative water reuse strategies, ensuring its safety both for the environment and for human health, and promotes more sustainable agricultural production systems sustainable through a comprehensive water perspective.
Dr Semitsoglou-Tsiapou will present ICRA-CERCA’s activities mainly related to the study of the presence of emerging pollutants in the countries involved in the project, the preparation of a harmonized list of priority pollutants to be assessed, as well as the protocols being developing to analyse these pollutants in the selected crop (tomato).
