Meritxell Gros is a chemist and Ramón y Cajal researcher at ICRA. His research focuses on: i) environmental analytical chemistry, through the development of innovative analytical methods to determine emerging pollutants (CEs) in environmental samples; ii) evaluation of environmental pollution, studying the sources and presence of ECs in natural, marine waters, soils and organic wastes, and the evaluation of their fate and impact on the environment and iii) environmental technology, evaluating the reduction of CEs during conventional and advanced treatments of wastewater and solid waste.
