These days we spend more hours at home and we may have changed our habits and use more hygienic products, which can affect the management of the sewer and the entire water cycle. To study what is the real effect of this period of confinement, due to the COVID19 pandemic, from the Barcelona Institut d’Estudis Regional i Metropolitanos de Barcelona (IERMB) , and with the support of the Catalan Research Institute de l’Aigua , research on household sanitation practices has been launched and a survey addressed to all residents of Catalonia over the age of 16 has been drawn up: https://forms.gle/YLPBCfCb7RTx2qHR7 .
The research takes place within the framework of the SCOREwater European project, which focuses on waste water management, prevention and early detection of incidents.
